Am on my ipad so I don't know how to answer replies without xkit LOL the sad face was bec I think Hoechlin prolly has enough of these shirtless scenes already. I mean I really don't wanna complain bec I love seeing him shirtless, but I also love seeing him doing real acting and not just being reduced to a sexy hunk with awesome abs. Also I do think that they had to retake the scene a few times, imagines how tiring this must be. Sorry for being such a sour wolf :-(

hm...i guess i just liked that scene in comparison to other shirtless scenes? like that it was tender and beautifully shot. a lot of his shirtless scenes feel violent. he's in physical pain, being tortured, etc. and yes there was pain in this one too, but it was also about being taken care of by someone, a human to human moment that derek often gets denied.

i know you're not a fan of the derek and braeden moments, but i just thought it was a great scene. they're at least somewhat equals here. he's saved her, she's helping him. there's a feeling of reciprocity. they've both put clothes ON in front of each other. idk, i think there's something sweet about that modesty. and yes, they start off with less clothes, but that's more for the audience's gaze/benefit.
