Today’s the great union day of Romania and I wanted to share something special as well! I was always intrigued in the Romanian traditional clothing and it was so fun to find out all the different kinds of clothing from all over the region of my home country. I’m from Transylvania and I tried to make the clothes I was wearing traditional and fitting. Hope I did a great job with that!

Great Union Day (Romanian: Ziua Marii Uniri; also called Unification Day or National Day) is a Romanian national holiday celebrated on 1 December to mark the 1918 Great Union, which united Transylvania, Bessarabia, and Bukovina with the Kingdom of Romania. The holiday was established after the Romanian Revolution and commemorates the Great National Assembly of ethnic Romanian delegates held in Alba Iulia, where the Union of Transylvania with Romania was declared.
