Our Commissioner of Labor Relations was appointed as Commissioner of Personnel today. This is the same cocksucker who encouraged different Dept heads to blatantly violate the contract because he didn’t think it should’ve been written that way (contract expired in ‘07). This is the same “labor” guy who bitched about the Triborough Amendment (because it wasn’t “intended” for situations like ours, obviously) every time we were @ the table for negotiations. This is the same douche who time & time again was quoted as saying “well in the PRIVATE sector…” This guy showed off his CWA gold watch when he was first hired, then stopped wearing it. So now he’s in charge of ensuring Civil Service laws are upheld & employees are promoted fairly.
Side note: our “chief negotiator”, the one who didn’t say shit to him when he spouted any of his anti Taylor Act, anti public worker garbage during negotiations left this comment on FB: “Congrats ——. A sincere man of integrity and utmost competence. Excellent appointment.” You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.
