Leningrad Cowboys and the Red Army Choir: Sweet Home Alabama
maroucia's post about the Red Army Choir reminded me of this... Don't let the name fool you; Leningrad Cowboys is a very Finnish band, bunch of silly oddball musicians who actually have distinguished music background all of them, so this is not only for the laughs. They collaborated with the Red Army Choir on several occasions performing both traditional music and more modern tunes, even recorded with them... (in about 4:15 the choir brakes into a traditional Russian song)
