Even if Simon wasn’t sure if he was more mad at himself for not seeing Maggie at Hiltop, or Gregory for keeping something as VITAL as that from him, the fact of the matter was that no matter who was to blame, Simon was PISSED.
There wasn’t much of a warning when the trucks pulled up--As if there ever was-- Simon simply got out of one and ignored the ODD looks he recieved as he made his way towards Gregory’s office, simply stepping INSIDE once he was able, his hand reaching down to rest on the butt of his gun at his hip.
“I think we gotta talk. “
“Alright.” Rick nodded vaguely as he took a step closer to the other man, closing the distance between them. "It wouldn’t be wise of you to threaten me. To threaten us? We may not be Negan but you’ve seen what we’re capable of. You’re either with us or against us. And you don’t wanna be against us, Gregory.” A brief yet tense silence followed.
“By the way, that is how you make a threat.”
