We Are Still Looking for People to Join!
Do you like writing?? Do you like drawing??? Do you want to write and draw with other people??
United Comic Force is for you!
The idea is similar to that of an art trade or secret Santa trade: We will invite some people to write scripts for comics and invite others to illustrate those scripts! The comics will be short and a just-for-fun, over-the-summer project!
The scripts will be 100-800 words, the comics will be 2-6 panels.
More information is at UnitedComicForce.tumblr.com!
Anyone can join and sign ups go through the end of May!
Follow and sign up at UnitedComicForce.tumblr.com!
Text: Well, over at UnitedComicForce, Ritzle and Kima are doing just that! Sign up to be an artist, writer, or both by May 31. Writers will be asked to write a script for a comic that is 200-800 words. Artists will be selected for each script (anonymously until the final product is published) and asked to illustrate those scripts in 2-6 panels. Writers will have until June 15 to complete their scripts and artists will have until June 30th to finish the comic. Final pieces will be submitted to the page and published the first week of July. To sign up, please specify how you would like to participate and send samples of your writing and/or art, and, optional, a short biography about yourself. We also recommend following UnitedComicForce to receive updates on the project!
Have any questions?? Feel free to ask! We are chalk-full of answers!
We are taking sign-ups through the end of May, we hope to hear from you!!
