Lindsey Morgan at Unity Days 2017 [x]
Don't listen to the lies people are spreading about Unity Days—the cast was lovely, the attendees were lovely (except for one particular person who is one of the ones spreading lies), and ships were hardly brought up at all at any of the panels. The few questions that did involve Bellarke or Clexa were very well thought-out and were actual questions about the show—no ugliness or anything even slightly resembling ship wars. People have been twisting things and tweeting quotes out of context—and even straight-up lying—to make it seem like the cast was very pro-Clexa and anti-Bellarke, but honestly, it was very even. They talked about Clarke's relationship with Bellamy, they talked about her relationship with Lexa. They talked about Raven's relationship with Abby, they talked about Jackson's relationship with Abby, they talked about Briller and Marper and Minty and Niylarke and every other ship out there (not so much about the ships with no actors there). I made friends with loads of people and rarely knew who they shipped Clarke with. It's just not something that really comes up, even at a convention for the show. So basically, if anyone says something negative about Unity Days, or says that the cast was rolling their eyes every time someone talked about Bellamy and Clarke in the same sentence, or that Lindsey mocked Bellarke shippers, odds are, it isn't true. If Lindsey had truly said "Bellarke is garbage," more than just one person would have heard it. There wasn't much time to chit chat at the photo ops, she didn't say it in any of the panels, and people working at Lindsey's autograph table have confirmed that she never said a single negative thing about any ship. And you've got people all around you at the autograph tables—I'm sure at least 3 or 4 people heard me emotionally word-vomit all over Lindsey when I got my autograph. Anyhow, Unity Days was amazing and I definitely plan on going next year if possible and Lindsey Morgan is the light of my life and I'll definitely be posting more about it all later
Because this is how all great romances start right?
