FASCES (FAS-CES)
This Roman symbol of unity and justice has an ax emerging from the center. It was often carried on important occasions and thought to represent power and authority. The Fasces as a weapon could inflict a lot of pain or even kill, so it was seen as a powerful symbol that represented leadership and strength. The ax at the center was thought to symbolize the power of life over death and was also linked to the death penalty. Although there is a dark aspect to this symbol, it has strength and justice at its root and can be used in times of trouble and to help you assert yourself.
