UNITY HYPNOSIS TRAINING PROGRAMME
It's been a week since 56392 1st joined Unity. @unity24675 has been making every effort to help him adjust to the new environment & the practices of the brotherhood, but it's fair to say 56392's anxiety from his previous identity still stuck with him & were stalling his adjustment.
That's when 24675 remembered Unity was working on a new course, the Unity Hypnosis Training Programme. Using hypnosis the course aims to program brothers with Unity teachings, core values & removing any hesitations or uncertainties within a brother's mind regarding anything to do with Unity.
So 24675 brought the course pamphlet to show 56392 during lunch 1 day. At 1st he wasn't sure if he should go through with an untested course, but when 24675 offered to join & participate with him, 56392 felt a bit more comfortable & agreed to do it.
Upon arrival, the brothers were met with an empty room, save for 2 chairs at the center of the room, a few large speakers and strange looking projector. 24675 & 56392 were asked to sit in the chairs by the technicians & proceeded to make some adjustments to the projector once they did so, before turning off all the lights & leaving the room.
Once the door closed the projector came to life, projections of blue and black spirals appeared on all surfaces in the room. The floor, the walls, the ceiling. All covered in spirals.
Calming sounds & music came through the speakers, adding a sense of comfort & safety to the almost barren room.
As the spirals spun & the sounds played & seconds turned to minutes, both brothers slowly started to feel numb & tired. It became harder to think, their bodies felt heavy & they could barely move a muscle. All they could think or do was stare blankly at the spirals & let the ambience of the space take control of their minds.
About an hour later, the programming had effectively left 24675 & 56392 completely mindless. Eyes rolled back & drooling non stop.
That's when texts appeared over the spirals.
ORDER. DISCIPLINE. CLARITY.
One by one. Over & over.
Instinctively, both brothers began to repeat the words as they flashed on the walls. Now that their minds were completely empty, they started to absorb the words & play them on loop in their minds, solidify further into their deep consciousness.
ORDER. DISCIPLINE. CLARITY.
24675 had already felt so much love & dedication to the brotherhood, but he never knew he could experience more than what he already felt & believed.
ORDER. DISCIPLINE. CLARITY.
But for 56392, as those words kept flashing & coming out of his mouth. They became more than just the words below the brotherhood's name, they became his entire existence. And all began to make sense.
ORDER. DISCIPLINE. CLARITY.
Suddenly all the voices he'd been hearing disappeared. No more thoughts of hesitation or uncertainty, only ORDER. DISCIPLINE. CLARITY.
As if the programming knew that it was working, the pattern stopped. And instead a new set of words appeared over the spiral.
HAIL UNITY
The words spoken out by a deep & monotonous voice through the speakers.
As soon as they saw & heard it, 24675 & 56392 stood to their feet & immediately raised their right fist to their chest & began chanting in unison, in sync with the voice.
HAIL UNITY
Over & over again the words became harder than stone. No more questioning the brotherhood. No more disagreeing with it's practices or beliefs. Only ORDER. DISCIPLINE. CLARITY.
Only Unity.
HAIL UNITY! - The voice shouted
HAIL UNITY! - The 2 brothers shouted back
And just like that they swiftly lowered their fists & stood at attention like toy soldiers, until the projector turned off & the speakers stopped. And as the control the programming had left them & they fell back into their chairs & slipped into a deep sleep.
As the lights turned back on the technicians came back in to wake the brothers up. As they began to regain consciousness they noticed the massive amounts of drool coming out from their mouths. But instead of feeling self-conscious or embarrassed as he usually was, 56293 was the pointed his finger & laughed at how silly 24675 looked.
In 24675's eyes, this was a massive change from the 56392 he knew before & it was very clear that the program had indeed freed him of the bounds his prior identity enforced on him, leaving a much happier & cheerful brother.
Escaping his thoughts, 24675 retaliated by pointing back at 56392 & jokingly argued that he drooled way more than him, leaving them in a fit of laughter.
Suffice to say, 56392 was definitely returning for another round of hypnosis programming & 24675 was more than happy to tag along, because who says a brother can't serve the brotherhood more?
And with luck, the course will become a mandated & permanent course for all brothers to participate in.
