So #WorldCancerDay isn’t until February but it’s never too early to spread awareness. I lost my grandmother to ovarian cancer last summer, and I still miss her every single day - so much that it hurts. #CancerResearchUK is selling #UnityBands in three different colours - navy blue, a lighter blue and pink - for £2 per band. I chose a light blue because the ribbon for ovarian cancer (one of the deadliest) is real and so this was the closest colour. The money goes to helping Cancer Research fund research into finding a cure for cancer and into helping those who are already battling it.
