post about seashells made me look this perfume up. main accords described as "plastic, white floral, coconut, lactonic, ozonic, animalic, (and) aquatic"
wearing this today. after weeks of conflicting feelings, and hurling over the initial sharpness but strangely nostalgic aroma that drew me in, i have become intoxicated by this fragrance. there was something repulsive to me in the beginning, maybe the cream soda? or how the cream and the lime come together. but the way it settles into this blissful sweet, ever so slightly fruity and juvenile sprightliness, it reminds me so much of my bedroom when i was a teenager. before all the drugs and the doom and gloom and the burdens of life. especially, in the summer. laying on the floor looking through fashion magazines with the windows open. clipping my favorite pictures and taping them all over the four walls of my bedroom. i'm not one for gourmand scents, but something about this isn't entirely gourmand to me. yes it's sweet/fruity but not too much of either. and yes, it's slightly creamy but there's the floral notes that blend, balance the cream, the raspberry. the lime is a nice touch, along with the chosen floral notes and the grass to tame that sweetness. tastefully done and memorable. maybe i'll get the full bottle. i love this house.
Current favorite scents: LUSH's Super Milk Conditioning Spray and Universal Flowering's Poems One Through Twelve
Scent profile for Super Milk: May Chang tree, almond milk, coconut milk, oat milk
Ngl, when I first smelled Super Milk, I thought it was too citrusy and I really disliked it. The scent grew on me and I decided to buy the smaller size to test it out. Overall, I don't think it greatly conditions or hydrates my hair but the smell is divine.
Notes for Poems One Through Twelve: Ginger, Condensed Milk, Vetiver, Opoponax
MY GOD! This perfume is heavenly and it is my favorite perfume ever! I first tried it in its sample size since I'm pretty picky about fragrances, but I totally fell in love with it and decided to get a bottle for Christmas once I finished the sample.
As you might be able to tell, I'm definitely a fan of sweeter-smelling fragrances. I was also pretty curious about LUSH's Sticky Dates so I got the scrub in the smaller size to test it out. I got tired of the scent fast so I'm glad I only got a small size. I'll definitely finish it but I don't think I'll repurchase it.
tried two new fragrances thanks to fragrancetwt and i’m in love. poems one through twelve from universal flowering and orchidee vanille from van cleef & arpels.
