HI!

so i received the #univoxbox from influenster. I honestly believe its a pretty good range of items. Tampons, lipstick, tea, nails, a pen AND foundation. This wasn't my first voxbox but it was my first non "one brand" box so i was a bit excited. As far as reviews go- I love Playtex Sport and these tampons i knew i would be pleased with. the light scent is always nice and i like how the packaging is easy to open. The NYC lipstick isnt my shade but its pretty and smells sooooo good. its a little dry and i personally wouldn't buy it but i would recommend it to a friend because it still is a decent product for a good price. The tea the perfect amount of flavor with just ONE squeeze. The nails, idk how they would last a week but they lasted a good while with some super glue. the pen is a lot better then when i first tested it lol. it look awhile for me to break it in. i still don't think it doesn't glide too well. the foundation, no. i would not recommend that. its dry and im not a fan of it. it IS though good coverage. Over all the box, i was impressed with. i got a wide variety of things to receive and im glad i received it.

My MK Glam look (Before and After). Ignore the video quality, but it doesn't take a genius to see that my look actually improved. The lip gloss is a bit sticky, but the bronzer, blush, mascara, and cream eyeshadow are great. My favorite: the gel eyeliner. It's long-lasting and extremely effective. The brush makes a very smooth cat-eye line and gives a bold look.  Love it! Totally will buy when I run out.

Anytime I think of the "London Look", I think of winter.... or a nice fall/spring where its already cold in London, opposed to where I live in the United States.

A nice jacket is a MUST.

Cute flats or boots that have "casual chic" metaphorically written all over them.

A dress that says "I might look like a fashionable hipster but I can pull this off in Buckingham palace."

And either a nice nude or red lip.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation

I've been using Rimmel's new Stay Matte foundation... and I love it! I'm a Revlon foundation gal, but my color was off and it started turning orange. I had a last minute dinner and grabbed Rimmel's foundation to use real quick... and I've been using it every since! I love how the coverage is basic; however, you CAN layer it. One thing I did notice is that it doesn't always stay matte and if you layer it TOO much, after a few hours... it looks cakey! No one wants that. I do a simple layer and go over spots that need more covering up... then BAM, I look cute for the rest of the day!

Influenster Review [Long Post]

Followers, ignore this post unless you're interested in the products I'm going to review!  Otherwise, check it out! :]

First off, I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

NYC Expert Last Lipstick:  ★☆☆☆☆  This product was pretty  disappointing; the product should be moisturizing, application should be smooth, and the color should be rich.  However, this lipstick felt dry, application was a struggle because it was so dry, and it took several layers to achieve a rich look that should only take one application.  And the color.  I sincerely hope that NYC offers a decent variety of shades, because the shade I was given (a bright cool-toned pink shade) looked awful.  I looked up other reviews of this product to check if it was just a disagreement with my skin tone, only to find that it looked awful on every example.  

Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation:  ★★★★☆ I actually laughed when I saw this product in the Uni VoxBox because I was starting to run out of my own Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation (same shade and all!).  I really do like this product because the application is smooth and the coverage is amazing; however, the mistake I ran into was getting a shade too dark.  Although it's the right shade for my skin tone, there is a pinky undertone that doesn't match the yellow undertones in my skin.  I absolutely plan on buying the product again, but I would recommend buying a shade lighter.  

Broadway Nails imPRESS Manicures:  ★★★★☆ This product was another win; I used these for an upcoming college party and got a ton of complements.  Application of the nails was super easy - I do wish they matched up a little better but that is expected from most artificial nail products.  They lasted about a week without chipping, and the design was absolutely adorable!  I will definitely be buying these in the future.  

Pilot Acroball Pure White Pilot Pen:  ★★★★☆ I like this product a lot; it was really useful for taking notes in class.  I love the color combinations offered as well.  Functionality-wise, the pen works really well.  I didn't run into any problems with the ink spilling or running dry.  I'll definitely consider buying these for my senior year of college!

Red Rose Real Tea Premium Water Enhancers: ★★★★☆ This was a great product as well.  I really liked how it made my water taste (I received the Sweet Tea flavor); however, I wish that it wasn't as sweet.  I would use the product until I could really taste the tea flavor, but there was so much sweetener in it that it would be sickening sweet at that point.  I would definitely buy this product again, but in a different flavor.  

Playtex Sport Fresh Balance Playtex Sport & Gentle Glide: ★★★★☆  This last product was decent; I feel awkward reviewing it though.  The product worked as it should; more importantly, I couldn't feel it, which is a major difference from other products.  Because of that, I would definitely  buy it in the future.

Influenster Uni VoxBox

I recently received the Uni VoxBox from Influenster, and was lucky enough to test out all of the goodies inside! This post will recap everything that I received.

I love receiving a new VoxBox in the mail. It's like a mini-Christmas! You never know what will be inside until you open up the box.

I was disappointed that my nails started falling off within two hours. The rest of the nails failed as soon as the water from my shower hit them. I'm not sure how these things were supposed to last a week.

My Influenster UniVox Box

I recently received the UniVox Box from Influenster and I was in love with all the products I received.  I fell most in love with my Rimmel foundation and NYC Experlast Lip Color.  I was shocked with how well the foundation matched my tone and how light it was.  The NYC Experlast Lip Color... well I love bright colors and this definitely worked well with my complexion.

I will certainly continue to use the NYC Experlast Lip Color and the RImmel Foundation.

My Broadway Nail Manicure

I have used these a few times now and I love how easy they are to use.  I love having my nails done and/or doing them myself, but that can be a bit time consuming and expensive.  These are so easy to use!  All you have to do is prep your nail, pop the nails on and out the door you go.  No drying time!!! I've already recommended these to my friends!
