Recs-mas 2017 Day 23: a book everyone needs to know about The Mysterious Benedict Society (The Mysterious Benedict Society #1) // Trenton Lee Stuart

This is my all time favorite series. This is the book with the quote that I want to get a tattoo of. And yet NOBODY KNOWS IT. This is the story of four kids with extra-ordinary intelligence who are sent on a secret mission to find and destroy a mass brainwashing machine. It’s sneakily smart, and the kids’ friendships are so lovely and wholesome. It’s got some great messages, and it’s a good bit of fantasy and thriller. I love it but it DESERVES MORE LOVE.
