CRYPTIDS (UNKNOWN ANIMALS): Humility
Animals that are rumored to exist such as the Yeti and the Loch Ness Monster are called Cryptids. These animals differ from Mythic Animals since they do exist in the here and now. (Being more supernatural, Mythic Animals have magical attributes, which Cryptids do not.) Wak, hinduski Cuon sp., known from legendary writings
We have been informed about this creature of natural world, as to inhabits wild lands of central and southern provinces of India. This rare inhabitant is catched to zoological garden somewhere, but no detailed infos is provided. This may be Cuon sp. or related and new genus, but no Canis. It's essentially just a especie of wild dog, unknown, but a biological species nonetheless - nothing special. Oddly enough, I'm discovering more species online than the Species Discovery Act allows (joke). This may be weird for dilettants, however DNA of animal is something new, as in accounts for discovery cryptic and cosmopolitan african wolf Canis lupaster (IUCN Canid Specialist Group). Look at key words in googlebooks: wak, canine designated as dhole, but possible veri distinct species.
