Rock #1

Nickname: my beloved uwu Type: Dolomite?

Notes: Beutifully banded with some dendrites. When turned upside down, the flatter side looks like some sort of alien landscape with a bunch of people walking along these white sandy hills to me. Orange hues come out in the tan area when it's wet. Relatively smooth to the touch, no transluscency.

Hey witchy side of Tumblr! I'm a baby witch still figuring things out, and my former roommate found this and gave it to me. I have no clue what kind of stone/rock/crystal it is and would love to know more about it!

Rock #5

Nickname: Red & Beige Little Guy!! WITH LEGS

Type: Likely Jasper

Notes: Tons of dendrites, one side beige one side red. In terms of smoothness it's closer to rocks #2 and #4 than rock #3. It has these strange....bumps? they look like growths and they're darker than the rock around them. Some denrites on the front seem to also go around them. Has a vein on the red side that's filled in with something dark gray (looks almost like it's a continuation of a dendrite? and a few very thin white ones.)

Nickname: Toast

Type: probably jasper???

Notes: This one's fairly simple, only interesting on this one side, but still cool. Roughish to the touch

Rock #3

Nickname: old elegant lady

Type: Jasper

Notes: a few elegantly placed dendrites, a gorgeous red marking complimenting them, and white quartz? veins. Relatively smooth, definitely smoother than Rock #2 and Rock #4. They somehow don't feel like the same type of stone, and there's slight variations in the hue. The red turns much cooler and duller when the stone isn't wet, which I tried ot replicate in the top photo.

Rock #2

Nickname: Bold Stripe Pentagon

Type: jasper

Notes: Flat, somewhat rough, matte stone. Has red flecks and what look like the beginnings of dendrites on the "back" side. I quite like the shapes that break up the central red stripe on the "front" side. The red looks like it's bleeding a little into the beige, the edges of the red stripe are blurry. The crack looks like it's filled in with something orange-ish.

Nickname: Old eraser

Type: unknown, need identification

Notes: Another gimmicky rock, It looks like a very well loved, old eraser to me. Smoother on the dark areas, slightly rougher on the orange areas.

Nickname: Meat, Bitten

Type: prob jasper? idk

Notes: The red sections feel and look a little different than the rest of the rock. Really deep red when wet.
