i meant to fix the shadows today but i never did... anyway, here’s a drawing i did the other day of my oc captain alexis hawthorne of the unreliable. yes, she took a dead man’s surname, yes, it was pure coincidence her name was alexis beforehand. also ive never drawn a gun before idk how they work ;_;

How did you settle on Banadei's design?
((Banadei’s an expy of an old OC I had that started off as an android! One of her prominent features was that her irises were plated with copper, so they were a very striking part of her appearance. Even if my artistic skills at the time could never quite capture that feeling…
But the moment I saw the limbal rings for au ra in 14, I knew I just had to make Band one. Nothing else would be able to so perfectly capture that striking glare that was always in my head.
From there on, the rest just followed her old design: blonde hair, ponytail, the uniform jacket… Honestly I’m surprised at what a damn likeness I got for not making her a human, y’know?))
