[31/3/20] Day 9 Studyblr Quarantine Challenge
Tue - Take a picture of the book you are currently reading
I've been meaning to finish this book for months and now I finally have the time to :D
[27/3/20] Day 5 Studyblr Quarantine Challenge
Fri - What is your favourite subject/topic to study at the moment?
I've been doing a lot of revision for computer science lately and I'm really enjoying it! I didn't have much time to make the revision I wanted to for it before because of my other subjects, but now I can :D
[22/7/20] Days 7-10 Summer Studying Challenge
19th July - What did you do during the summer when you were a young child?
I went on days out with my family, played in the garden when I could, and did lots of arts and crafts activities!
20th July - Do you usually go on vacation during the summer?
Not normally, and I dont really like going on holiday with my family anymore. They prefer going in autumn/spring anyway.
21st July - What is the best vacation you have ever been on? (note: does not have to have been during summer)
None really come to mind. Something seems to go wrong every time for some reason :(
22nd July - What is your dream vacation?
I'd love to go on holiday abroad! Preferably Japan or Spain, they're both such beautiful countries in their own ways :D
[9/4/20] Day 18 Studyblr Quarantine Challenge
I finished all my revision notes for Computer Science AS today :D
Thu - What is the song that makes you happy no matter what?
Any song by Lauv makes me smile (especially I like me better, Feelings, and Mean it)! His music is just so lively yet relatable, honestly he's really underrated!
I can't choose one song, my music taste is all over the place XD
[30/3/20] Day 8 Studyblr Quarantine Challenge
Mon - Take a picture of your desk/study space
It's not the most aesthetic set up or the biggest desk, but I'm happy with it! Also most of the digital art on the wall is by me :D
[26/4/20] Days 27-35 Studyblr Quarantine Challenge
I didn't forget about this I promise! I just lost motivation to study for awhile!
Sat - What is your best tip on how to relax
I'm awful at this, I completely forgot how to do this during sixth form til the quarantine forced me to! But I'd say try not to worry about anything when you need to relax! It'll make you feel worse otherwise.
Sun - What is you biggest tip to someone starting to learn your major/favourite subject/degree?
It's hard to choose one favourite aaaaa I'd say for maths, practice using the different equations and stuff even if you understand what they mean! It helps you know when to use what equation and how.
Mon - What is your favourite film?
I don't think I have one? I like lots but i don't think any stand out as a favourite :/
Tue - What is your favourite book?
My favourite book series is Secret Breakers! I cant choose a single favourite tho, they're all good!
Wed - What is your favourite song?
This changes all the time for me! At the moment I'd say Mind is a Prison by Alec Benjamin.
Thu - Who is your hero?
Not to be cheesy, but my Spanish teacher is definitely my hero! He's inspired me to learn more languages than I thought I would, and is a general inspiration to me in pretty much every way! Plus he's such a caring person and understands my mental health and how to help me more than anyone else! He literally saved me :)
Fri - What is your favourite thing about your subject/major/degree?
The sense of achievement when I successfully solve a problem. Whether it be a calculation, a program or a translation, this applies to all my subjects and it's just so satisfying to finally accomplish something after working hard!
Sat - What is your favourite game or sport to watch and play?
Lol what's a sport???
Sun - What is your favourite childhood memory?
My childhood was...awful. But one of my best memories is from year 8 (I was 13 so idk if it counts??) when I found out that I won gold in the junior maths challenge and got through to the junior kangaroo challenge! The teachers kept saying how I was the first to get through ever in the school, and when it was announced everyone seemed genuinely happy for me :)
[15/4/20] Days 23 & 24 Studyblr Quarantine Challenge
Tue - What is your biggest tip for not getting cabin fever?
Open your window to get some fresh air. And if you're allowed to, make the most of your daily exercise by going outside! I should really listen to my own advice since I've spent most of my time shut up in my room XD
Wed - What would be your advice to you from five years ago?
Ack, me from five years ago wasnt in a good place so...my advice would be to not give up! Keep working hard despite what everyone else thinks, and there will be people who care about you! So keep living for them 💞
[13/7/20] Day 1 Summer Studying Challenge
I haven't posted many original things lately, so I'm taking part in @myhoneststudyblr 's new challenge!
13th July - What are your plans for this summer?
Improve my Spanish speaking by practicing with people
Research possible topics for my Spanish project next year
Study Japanese more regularly
Start planning for my Computer Science project next year
Practice more coding in Visual Basic and Python
Continue working through the exercises given for maths and further maths
Finish playing through the video games I've already started
Read more books in my target languages
Take part in 2 virtual summer schools
I don't know how to relax properly, so my main plans are very academic 😅
