Guys help I am dissociating about unkown blood to try and come up with more of it, but it's all jsut rocky grace fluff help they're too cool all I've come up with with Simon is he's touch starved so once he is allowed to walk around the place and he deems grace as the sole non-threat person on the entire planet he jsut clings to him like velcro to grace's fox sweater

Like they're on the middle of a conference about Simon's world so ofc he is there, and in the middle of talking Simon stands up and jsut says "touch" and clings to grace with everyone jsut looking at them like "What the fuck"

So grace quickly explains the situation and continues with the presentation asking people to respect Simon and pay no mind to this whole deal (doesn't help Simon mumbles "fuck" close enough that grace's mic catches it and the entirely too casual way grace says "no" and turns him down like this js normal to them jsut confuses everyone else)

Stratt has to issue a statement along the lines of "I can't believe I'm saying this, but. To all personel, do not try to fuck the inter dimensional man. I know he's muscular and strong enough to lift and eridian and looks like a supervillain. Do not try to fuck him, he will oblige but both parties will be hurt and you will be fired for it. I repeat: Do. Not. Sleep. With. Simon.

P.s since people keep asking. Grace has special close contact permission since I both trust him not to do anything stupid and is the only person Simon trusts enough to let touch him, let alone be the one to initiate touch. Do not mention the constant touching around Simon he will become violent"

Is Grace gonna cuss out Stratt in your fic? Or will he at least crash out at her? Will there be lots of angst???? (I love angst lmao)

i dont think so actually, rocky is the msot upset one, eridian longer lifespan also means longer emotions, eridian grudges can last centuries, grace is sort of... numbed, to all of everything happening around stratt,

its jsut uncomfortable to be around her for... reasons, so they dont talk nearly as often as they once did, certaintly not as often as he imagined he would if he ever got back in within her lifespan

he feels bad, he finds how stratt has been living all these years, a wanted criminal made to continue living when she expected death, the sheer guilt she feels about everything deemed enough of a punishment

rocky is the one upset, he is angry in grace's place, he makes remarks and comments at stratt and earth as a whole

that grace keeps apologizing about, because he is not upset. not at her, not at earth, not at anything, all those years and the time betweem flashbacks and the shit that happened. his anger passed, it happened in a ship and faded in a ship. he is now just... numb, going through the motions and studying simon. he ran out of hate a long time ago, too much to do too much to think for the angry to stay when trying to breed taomeba and save not one but two stars

as for angst, i keep saying im not good at angst then write stuff like this so, i dont know? a major part of this is jsut grace learning to communicate and being entirely too fascinated by everything he learns

once simon gets used to grace he goes full on neglected puppy on him just sticking like velcro so it gets kinda silly fluffy. so far most angst seems to be around stratt? i dont plan stuff i jsut make it as i come up with it so literally everything is subject to change

lowkey regretting i didnt have adrian tag along but i have my ways hehehehehe (hint the worm hole they got in through is still there :3)

(also yes a majority of these refencces are because i just listened to the audiobook, i am sort of stalling the end because i jsut dont want it to be over, im at the 14:07 hour mark out of 16:10 i dont want it to be over i jsut dont)

It sucks. It doesn't correct things right. It constantly messes up, says words are wrong when they are perfectly fine, it "corrects" perfectly fine words into something that makes no sense. It doesn't detect SWEARS as correctly spelled even when THEY ARE just because Ais have to be politically correct. You use a swear word? Well then fuck you in particular

If you saw the word "inher" somewhere, you would assume they misspelled "in her" or maybe "inherent" yeah this fuckass phone changed it to "other" I jsut wkfhjwakjxjwkajf

Little update I started the project hail mary audiobook yesterday, I'm at the 5hour mark and do know this will influence unkown blood. I hope to get most of it out before the 31 when I watch iron lung, but no promises cuz I suck at writing consistently

Uh so fun fact, the reason it's called "unkown blood" is referencing the fact I don't know what I'm doing and all the iron lung lore is "unkown" to me. But also the fact that Simon is so strange and alien to them, and the fact this human-ish looking guy is from a world completely "unkown" to them

Mostly the first part amd then I noticed it sounded cool then I came up with the second half

Eridians don't have gendered language so it 6 defaults to the one pronoun they do have wich is "it" also grace added stratt to the translator in the middle of the conversation, rocky didn't know so he called her "human stratt" thinking the name wouldnt translate
