I got mine from Skulls Unlimited. The kitten skull cost about $37 dollars with shipping on it, which was very fast - took about three days to get to me. I looked at human skulls [I want one too!] & they had one for around $800 the other day, but yeahhh way too much - the rest are back up to ~$1000 again :(
thank you! I think the price hike in the last few years, at least in America, has to do with the ban on importing human skeletal remains for private sale. The father of a guy I went to high school with has several skulls and one fully articulated human skeleton, but he found some of the skulls at an estate sale and the skeleton he snagged for cheap from medical school.
