Working on commissions tonight I drew deltastic‘s OC eating a burger for warm up. You too can get a chibi postcard commission! Only $10, full color, traditional media, and minimal background. This one is black & white cause Noir and all that jazz. I could add some more tone or something but I like it like this.
For my birthday back in April, @deltastic sent me an inked picture with an encouraging card telling me I should color it. I didn't color it because I was anxious I would ruin it. Last night I was inspired to give it a go. A few hours later I realized I stayed up way too late and I have a lot to do today. Still, I think it looks awesome and I am so happy I finally got to work on it. Will post the full image later.
This is Del's character Casey! He's a PI from Jersey in the 1930's that is usually a smooth talker. I thought it would be fun drawing him in a situation where he's trying to sweet talk himself outta a trick situation.
Del suggested doing an art trade for fun and this was my half. Anytime I draw something like this I feel surprised afterwards. If you aren't watching her art tumblr you should! She's amazing. Enjoy!
A few years ago Del started a webcomic and today was it's launch date! This is Nian. He's from the comic and usually up to no good. One of those characters you can trust to always be untrustworthy. Even though the comic hasn't updated for a while now, you should still check it out. It's a fun story and I know she'll get back to it when she's able. Enjoy~!
Tomorrow is Valentine's day and I wanted to put some lovey dovey things on the internet. Here are a few happy couples I know. Since I won't be spending valentine's day with someone it made me happy to be able to share my love with my friends and family. Hope ya'll like it!
