On Being Kind.

Reading headlines and catching sound bites of today's current affairs, my heart breaks for humanity. Being kind and forgiving doesn't mean weakness, compromised faith, standards and values. In fact, it emphasizes exactly where an individual's strength and where a person's faith, standards, and values lie. There's simply a better way of doing things, a higher plane of existence. Do what's right and follow peace with everyone. So, be mindful because if we really desire change, we must become it and stop promoting hatred. Cliché? Yes, but nonetheless true. We can help make America (and our world) great if we stop allowing fear to create misshapen opinions of others. Forgive me, Lord. Thank You, for opening my eyes and softening my heart while making my convictions and faith in You more sure.
