Relaxing once they were seated, Aziraphale’s gaze took in the sights of his and Crowley’s surroundings. He’s noticed the demon’s constant concern. It’s growing and growing the more they’re in each other’s company in which the shorter hopes will stop. Shifting in his seat, he plucks the menu off the table as his eyes skim along the words that were within.
“Oh how lovely. I’d love to have these lovely crepes with some tea..and some of these wonderful pastries,” Aziraphale cooes. His tone of voice still falls flat no matter how elated he seems about this and his attention went to Crowley, staring at the bespectacled man next to him. Wanting to just shy away now, he clenched his jaw before smiling to a waiter that came up to their table.
Ordering himself what he’d like, trying to hide the slight fear that sprung up on him. It weighs on his shoulders now that he’s so close to Crowley, realizing that now his hair is a charcoal gray at the roots once he caught his reflection. Shit. Aziraphale forced a smile as he ordered a simple glass of water for his companion and nods as soon as their waiter leaves, giving the menu back to him.
“So, anything new before you came to see little ol’ me and took me here?”
