Unlikely Encounters // Narcissa & Wendy
Infrequently, Narcissa indulged in some devious behavior; infrequently, she allowed her friends to talk her into letting that Ravenclaw boy sneak her into the Prefect's bathroom and having some fun with him amidst the foamy bubbles; infrequently, she found herself creeping through the halls with wet hair and a dress with a dripping hem, ducking down corridors if she heard voices or footsteps to avoid running into anyone she knew.
The tryst had been fun, and worth it, provided she didn't get caught out of bed after hours. Smelling like cherry candy, red marks from an amorous mouth decorating her collarbone; she was sure to rise suspicion from any professor who looked too closely. Besides, Narcissa Black didn't wander the halls looking anything less than perfectly put together; she couldn't risk her reputation by letting anyone see her this way.
Footsteps from the corridor behind, and voices in the one ahead, caused a moment of brief panic--swiftly, Cissa wrenched open the nearest door and closed it as quietly as possible. She pressed her ear against the door, listening to the voices and the footsteps draw nearer, hoping they would pass by quickly...
A noise behind her made her jump. Her heart thudding, she spun around like a caged animal, wide eyes searching for the threat--and discovered a bewildered-looking girl staring at her. She'd never seen the girl before, but she looked older and not at all threatening. Attempting to regain some of her composure, Narcissa looking her up and down with narrowed eyes and said, "Yes?"
