Oh god, so true. Like, I'd kill for a movie that wasn't led by a white person let's be totally honest here. And really, what reason do you need to make a comic book character a POC other than "representation is awesome and should definitely be a Thing"? (I mean unless their race is pretty integral to their origin, but honestly. How often does being white have much to do with their backstory anyways? The answer is "not often at all".)
