Unnecessary evils || Hakyeon & Kai
Although he was wasn't usually one to practice, having been on the island for so long Kai decided it was a necessary annoyance. Still adjusting to being awake at night for the performance, he woke rather 'early' - just around sundown. Throwing on a shirt and taking his fireproof shorts for a short test run, he then headed out of his coffee brown tent and made his way towards the main tent.
Upon arrival he checked to see if anyone else was inside; finding no one, he went around setting up for his act. Setting the weighted ramps on a squeaking wheelbarrow, he wheeled the contraption around the tent, throwing down the ramps without rhyme or reason until they lay all over. Although it'd taken several trips and almost half an hour to complete, if was going to practice he was going to do it right.
After finding his mountain bike he skipped playing the music, as it was of little relevance to the actual trick itself, and set off towards the largest ramp. Using the steps coming out the back he reached the even space quickly, and after mounting his bike he took off down the ramp, both feet resting on the seat. A minute of random tricks and near misses later, he decided that was enough pre-trick practice and headed for the jump ramps. Purposefully overestimating the distance between the ramps, he increased his speed to suicidal levels and did a flip, losing his bike in the process. As he fell through the air he smiled, heading for a collection of smaller ramps at an insane speed. Setting himself alight and increasing the temperature to what he knew would melt the blocks, he let himself fall, rolling through and melting the blockades as he did so; along with part of the dirt floor.
