While waiting for his best friend to show up, Gage was busy cleaning up the various toys on the ground, aka, grabbing all the toys he could find and putting them into one corner of the room. It wasn't long before it looked like there was a mountain of toys in the living room, "how did you end up with so many toys," he mumbled more to himself than to his daughter, Peyton, who was sitting on the couch brushing one of her doll's hair while anxiously waiting for Touka. The little girl was attached to her just as much as she is to her father, she was the only woman in her life that was constantly there and like a mother to her since her birth mom isn't in her life at the moment. When there was a knock on the door Gage went to go open it, but Peyton quickly jumped off the couch and ran in front of him, putting a hand on his stomach. "No daddy, I'll open it." He looked down at her, crossing his arms over his chest, "you don't even know who it is, it could be a stranger on the other side of the door." "Why would a stranger be at our door," she took her hand off his stomach and ran towards the door. When she opened it and saw Touka standing in the entryway she shrieked her name and immediately wrapped her arms around her legs tightly before grabbing her hand and pulling her inside the apartment. "What do you wanna do first, color, tea party, dressup, or dollies, my daddy got me a new one yesterday." Gage gave Touka a knowing smile before looking to Peyton, "Pey, can I at least say 'hi' to her before you drag her off to play?" She was still gripping onto Touka's hand when she looked at Gage, "nah. She has more fun with me anyway."
