Are there any fics that you believe are underrated or overlooked in the fandom that you wish would get more love? I would love some recs!!

I'm sorry but this is way too subjective of a question. What we might find to be underrated or overlooked, others may not. Taste is very subjective.

Just a reminder, we are not professional reviewers/book editors, we don't have qualifications to make judgments like this. TF's goal is to help people find fics that they can't remember but read, take submissions, and maybe try to find or supply some rec lists based on what they are asking for, as long as its not too subjective.

hi! i can’t find a story in which hermione finds herself in the 40s and, since she can’t get back, helps tom to become the dada professor at hogwarts. If i remember correctly it should be like a test from dumbledore sending her in the diary of tom riddle… it should be two parts.. thank you so much!!!

Hello, I was searching for this fic where a young Hermione is trained by Professor Tom. She is very much alone with no friends, not even harry and ron and Tom who is a professor in Hogwarts helps her and teaches her extra thing and eventually teaches her to be an animagus. Later it is revealed that Voldemort time traveled or time messaged young Tom to take and control Hermione because she is the brain in the trio.

I'm looking for a previously read fanfic that has Hermione dying, then somehow traveling back in time (to the late 40s or 50s?) to become Lady Peverell. There's a scene where she goes to Gringotts bank and confirms her heritage, she can understand the goblins and is bond fraternally to House Potter. The goblins aren't surprised that she's died and been reborn. I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find this story again. Thanks for your help!

I’m looking for a fanfic where Tom and Hermione went to Hogwarts together but end up in an alternate universe that is canon, meeting Harry and canon Hermione as soon as they arrive. There was something like Harry telling 1940s Hermione that Tom is a dark lord and she doesn’t believe him?

Hello! I need some help finding a Tomione story. In the story, Hermione travels back in time to when Tom riddle may have graduated Hogwarts already. Hermione was also sent back in a decomposing body? I remember she was looking for things to help her not decompose. I first read it in the ffn website about 10 years ago.

I remember reading a fic years back and one of the events that stood out to me was when Tom marked or bonded Hermione to him in the form of a snake ‘tattoo’, but it kinda had a mind of its own and was able to slither around her body freely. I think he dragged her into an empty classroom after seeing her with another guy, and by force he slit her palm and used her blood (and possibly his too) to bond them. I don’t remember what it was specifically for, but I believe the snake heated up or maybe tightened up if she was standing to close to another male student. It could’ve also been a time travel fic, but I’m not entirely sure about that. Thanks 🥲.

this might be a long shot but for anyone who's read a cure for boredom from ffnet is there any other tomione fics with that kind of tom characterisation? he seems more humane, while not necessarily being any less evil idk
