I have you shoved against the wall but now I can’t stop looking at your mouth

Aomine was easier to pin than Kagami would have thought but then it occurred to him and he realised, in one swooping sinking moment, that Aomine had let Kagami grab him without bothering to get away, and now he was laughing in Kagami’s face. 

“Wow, tough guy,” said Aomine, smirking. “You must’ve been a big hit in our middle schools.”

“You’re the one who goes around actually getting into fights,” said Kagami. He didn’t let Aomine down, though. The weight of him pressed against Kagami’s knuckles.

“I don’t start fights,” Aomine informed him. “I end them.” He did a weird karate-chop motion out to the side of Kagami’s head, still apparently perfectly content to be held to the wall. “One stroke.”

Kagami snorted. “Tough guy,” he said. 

“Oh, yeah,” Aomine said, and laughed like he meant it.

Kagami stared helplessly at the line of his throat bobbing. Aomine licked his lips after he was done and looked down at Kagami’s hands 

“Done groping me?” he said. 

Kagami considered it. He leaned a bit harder on his hands. “No,” he said. 

Aomine lifted his brows at Kagami. Lightning-quick, he twisted out of Kagami’s grasp and turned the tables, slamming Kagami against the wall in the same position that he had just been in. 

He did it a lot harder than Kagami had done it to him. That had to be on purpose. 

“Look at that,” said Aomine. “How easy.”

Hehehe, yes, this is my fic tumblr. :3 I’ll repost most of these on AO3 in some collection-fics later when I’m feeling less lazy and have… titles… orz. And yes, the meme is still open. :3

"He’s a complete whackjob," Daiki muttered. "He’s got that thing. Meg-megalod- whatever, he’s basically got short man syndrome.”

"Dai-chan…" Satsuki said, smiling at him, "Akashi-kun is above average height. And I think you’re thinking of megalomania. Just because Akashi-kun is a strict captain, doesn’t mean that he wants to rule the world."

"He’s an evil bastard," Daiki muttered. "I can’t stand him."

He knew he couldn’t hide everything from her, but he’d be damned if he didn’t at least try.

Midorima hummed to make it sound as if he was listening, but they both knew that he wasn’t. But then, that wasn’t really the point.

”He never listens, he brings inappropriate things to school… do you know how many times he’s almost gotten himself benched over his grades? And he’s disgusting.”

Midorima sighed and looked up from the board. “I’m well aware of Aomine’s numerous and varied faults, Akashi, as you know. So why do you continue to regale me with a list of the things you claim to dislike about him?”

He was getting too close to the truth."I’m going to win in five moves."

Aomine as Poseidon (generally known as god of the sea), Kagami as Hephaestus (generally the god of blacksmiths and fire)

I always think of powers as more superheroes- DC and Dark Horse, not Marvel.

Akashi: Is Batman. 

Kiyoshi - the standard set of flying brick powers, with some unexplored and largely unknown emphatic vibes- he's good at controlling a situation, making everyone feel calm, or get them het up. Since it works with emotions, not thoughts, people with purely mental powers tend to be unable to deal with him; since it's a largely passive ability, it's hard to know when he's putting it into effect. 

Kuroko: actually does have a Marvel counterpart- Prodigy, David Alleyne, able to absorb knowledge and skills from those directly around him. Also think Peter from Heroes. Kuroko's a much lower level version, though his ability to 'access' and control these abilities improves later in life. Kuroko was deployed only as a surprise trump card, but managed to distinguish himself in the field through resourcefulness and genuine heroism. The misconception is that Kuroko is useless by himself. This is not so.

I love this moment in the manga- not just for Haizaki's pre-total evil personality, but Nijimura snatching that phone away from Akashi. It was a great choice to animate, because it's so full of life and characterisation.

Aomine or Akashi for the character meme!

I have Akashi elsewhere.1) Aomine is the strongest. No matter what permutation, I can't imagine an Aomine who's not aware of and defined by the fact that he is the absolute master of his craft. 2) I think there's a little shade of anger in Aomine- YOU have failed to meet his requirements. YOU have given up. YOU don't deserve to meet him on the court. YOU have disappointed him. YOU haven't changed. 3) YOU have to earn HIM.
