Brought unsliced bread yesterday (it was discounted cos no one wants unsliced bread unless it's fancy), and today I have cut myself slices to make sandwiches, and the first 3 are thin to the point of structural instability but fortunately I am a scientist who understands averages, so the last slice is bigger than the uncut load was.
