“Ebisu.” Ibaraki was rather surprised to find himself suddenly with company. Though he supposed this close to the river many of Arakawa’s subjects could easily stumble upon this secluded spot.
It was his favourite place to go when he needed time alone, to think. Resting against the trunk of a great tree in the shade of its leaves, with the River flowing a stone’s throw away. The peacefulness of this place allowed him to collect his thoughts which were so often clamouring and too too loud.
“...yes,” he said, moving his eyes back out across the water. “I just wanted some time to think, away from all the noise. There is much to worry over, much to plan...I simply wished to be able to sort my thoughts,” he said rather quietly.
“However, you are welcome to join me, if you wish. I think...I have sorted them out, enough, for now. I was just enjoying the peace.”
