BLESS YOU alright so they’re mostly silverflint/malex. i will say that of course purely on an events level, malex’s story resembles flinthamilton’s more BUT their dynamic reminds me a lot more of silverflint. the thing i love the most and also breaks my heart is that in both instances, we see each of them at a time when they were more carefree and naive, but when we meet them in the present we see that they’ve had to harden and put on masks or put up walls because of the situations they were forced in and the trauma/abuse they endured. and here’s the real kicker: in both ships, the capacity for tenderness and vulnerability they have with each other is what makes the dynamic so good. like, you take two very hard men, who have lost most of their hope in the world because of the experience they had in it, and you put them together and sure, they are absolutely capable of destroying one another and finding the exact words to do it, but they’re also, to one another, the one person they can be really truly vulnerable with because of the connection they have, and when they are, there’s a softness to them in the way they handle each other that literally,,, breaks my heart.so that’s mostly what i was thinking about today!!! oh and then there are michael/silver parallels which continue to come to my mind and are also. absolutely destroying me lol
