OMG omg okay, I am so so sorry this took me so long to answer this ask!! Things have been a bit of a whirlwind, and I didn’t mean to leave this so long without answering. Thank you so so much for sending the questions my way! I love answering things like this, and once again I’m sorry for the delayed response!
25) What’s something you can’t stop buying?
Um, oh God, way to expose myself here. Lately, it’s plaid (flannel) shirts. I’ve brought myself.... um... I’m embarrassed to say this, I’ve brought 6 so far this season (in the last like month or so). To be fair, I have a collection of plaid shirts collected over 6 years, and I only brought one last year. And I love getting different colors. So this season I’ve gotten 2 green plaid, 1 red plaid, one yellow/orange plaid, and 2 that are orange. Yes, I have a problem. But I just love plaid shirts in the fall/winter. I’ve been obsessed with them for the last 6 years now, so my collection isn’t stopping anytime soon. Someone take my wallet away from me (I say that but the last two orange ones i brought were from amazon so you can’t trust me with online shopping either hahah!)
33) What do you think about a lot?
Honestly, at the moment it’s probably if I’m good enough to be in vet school. This second year of classes has been really tough for me. I’ve been struggling with the exams, which is frustrating because I feel like I know the content but it’s just not translating well in the exams. So a lot of what I’ve been thinking about is like if I’m good enough or if I’m going to be able to pass and be a good doctor. Maybe I’m just not the best test-taker? My strong suit isn’t in the classroom setting.. but I excel in the clinic setting. Working with clients and taking care of patients, that’s where I do my best. So maybe I’ll feel more confident when things are less didactic and more clinical next year.
35) What does home mean to you?
This is going to sound cliche, but my family. My family is home. I’ve moved more times in my life than most people. I’ve lived in more houses than years i’ve been alive. I’ve lived in 2 countries, 3 different states, and 27 homes. So home isn’t a place for me. It’s my family. Wherever they go, I go. So if they move from Arizona in the future, I’ll follow them and work close to wherever they are. Because my family is my home, and I don’t want to be too far away from them. Home is my mum remembering the little things I’ve told her and always having baked/cooked something when I need a pick-me-up. Home is my sister sitting and listening to me talk about all the things going on in my life. Home is my dad helping explain medical concepts to me when I don’t understand them. Home is my puppy running to greet me at the door with the biggest cuddle and kisses. Home is my older doggie bringing me a toy and wanting to play fetch but not actually letting me have the toy. Home is my family, and I love them.
