My boyfriend @tripdwyr just had a birthday and he loves the Dune series! So a few months ago I decided to make something special for him: a Crysknife! I wasn’t really into the look of the existing versions so I decided to make my own design that followed the descriptions I could find from the books. It was hand sculpted and then cast in translucent urethane with leather wrapping, a glass jewel and real sand glued into the crevices!
