Class 131 - Rompers

For June’s focus, we decided to focus on Class 131, Rompers. Drawing our inspiration from both Femme and Modern looks, we chose 4 outfits stylized to fit any girl with a soft, feminine touch.

Style Inspiration: We chose two Femme and two Modern outfits for our project this month.

How It Fit, Favorite Piece, Favorite Moment and Experience are pieces of feedback that our models had about both the clothing and the experience.

Style Inspiration: For Kayla, we chose a Femme outfit that excels at being comfortable while still being stylish for any girl meeting up with a group of friends for a casual night out

How It Fit: The romper was a bit large on my body but that's normal for a UO romper because I'm a petite human

Favorite Piece: I really liked the denim button up because it can be casual or you could dress it up. Plus it was super comfy

Favorite Moment: Trying on clothes was definitely my favorite moment because I love love LOVE trying on clothing. I really enjoy fashion stuff!

Experience: It was my first time doing anything like this, and it was really fun, just a tad bit hot outside...but overall, it was fun doing something new. I’d try it again because UO is probably my favorite store haha

Style Inspiration: For Jessie, we chose a Femme/Boho outfit that would work well for hot summer festival days, with a Renewal denim jacket to keep warm during cold desert nights

How It Fit: The vocal point of the outfit, the romper, fit very true to size! Still loose fitting of course as is the style of it.

Favorite Piece: I really enjoyed the hat honestly! I've been on the fence about buying a wide brim hat like that one for a while so it was fun to play around with!

Favorite Moment: Considering the temperature outside I enjoyed any part of it where we were inside! 

Experience: This is my 3rd time doing a photo shoot like this! It's always enjoyable (even in extreme temperatures!)

Style Inspiration: For Jenn, we picked out a Modern outfit that would work well for a night out on the town.

How It Fit: Everything fit true to size. I would totally wear the outfit because I wear black all the time

Favorite Piece: My favorite piece were the shoes, albeit they took some getting used to. I love the platforms though, as they remind me of my yesteryears

Favorite Moment: It was definitely going back into the store because it was a furnace outside

Experience: I’ve shot with Aaron a lot of times, and I’ve enjoyed it every time. Aaron was a very nice photographer and grabbed us some tunes to pose to and tissues to blot our glistening selves since it was so hot outside.

Style Inspiration: For Christina, we chose a Modern outfit that would work well in any work setting but still turn heads outside in a more casual setting.

How It Fit: The jumpsuit was really comfortable! I thought the top was freeing even while tightened and the fitted to loose cut on the bottom worked well.

Favorite Piece: My favorite piece was the jumpsuit. I felt like it made me look powerful and more confident!

Favorite Moment: My favorite moment was when Aaron was prepping me on how to pose. This was my first shoot and I really appreciated the direction. 

Experience: The overall experience was wonderful! Being my first time shooting I was a little nervous but it was fun and would love to do it again!
