I was watching TV and a Taylor Swift Diet Coke commercial came on. My little brother (who is in 6th grade) came in and said "OMG Shes so sexy I wanna do her." so I punched him in the face. I dont care how much trouble I get in, Im helping him in the long run

Be Positive, right?!

Man I guess I am pretty disappointed with some adults in my life. What happened to like staying positive which pastor preached on? Or like giving new things a shot? not shooting it down? looking at how hard our pastor work on making the stage look new and all? Not being self-centered? Right? or is it just me?

But on a positive note, I am very excited because I was assigned to mentor a kid that is really in my heart. I kid that I see greatness in. I kid that I haven't really got to work with before but in camps. Another kid I can pour out a little bit of me into and sow seeds that will grow and blossom into some fruit or even a beautiful flower, psyche more like a bomb that will set Beaverton on fire.

Also not to mention, God has given me words to speak and without me asking for it, in a couple of weeks I get the opportunity to pour out the heart and message God has instilled in my heart. I feel like I am incapable but I think if I seek after God's heart and pour out my broken heart for our generation, I think he can use me as a mouthpiece to spark and instill something in these kids' lives.

God is good! Even though I am very disappointed with the previous generation, things are looking up because I am working with young people who are going to take our church to the next level. I truly believe this and my heart just can't contain the excitement and the goodness that is upcoming no matter how many disappointments or trials may come our way.
