I won’t lie — I’m good at building a world from scratch, but when it comes to physical details like what a character wears or how their hair is styled, that’s not my strongest suit. So, I took some inspiration from this world we live in. A reader recently requested Rapunzel-length hair, so I added an ankle-length hair option. Readers can now also choose their preferred hair color.
Since hair color holds a lot of meaning in Vathilia, I wanted to avoid having anyone else with the same one — like no white hair like Cadmus, for example. (Screenshots are below.)
Also — I’ve finally finished the entirety of Chapter Two. I'll be going through the rest of Chapter One again before starting the full editing process for Chapter Two. I really want this update to make sense and not like I just wrote whatever off the bat.
Some might call it a short read, but this update is bordering between 50k–60k words.
As you all know, after editing, we’ll move on to test runs to make sure everything is perfect. I won’t give a definite release date just yet — I’m still battling with some inner demons who visited me last week 🤧. (But hey, we’re used to them around here, right? Lol.)
Once the edits for Chapter 1 and 2 are finished, I’ll try to release the drabble for T to you all as well. I never thought I’d be able to push out 100k words — honestly, it’s a little frightening.
