There was quite a bit that Capcom wanted to add to SF IV, but they ran out of time. Rather than patch the game, however, they went with what usually worked back in the day.

i wish i had story of seasons trio of towns :(
im in the mood for a harvest moon game but im sick and the only harvest moon game i have in my room is rune factory (and stardew valley on the pc b u t) and im not in the mood for fighting enemies bc that water temple took me like 30 tries
i dont wanna mention it bc im scared my mom might say she can get it for me and then ill feel bad bc i still dont have a job and money to buy my own games
The first version of Street Fighter II wasn’t perfect, of course. So, Capcom released a second one which tinkered with the game a little and, vitally, allowed the boss characters to be playable.

Champion Edition did well, but bootleggers wound up hacking the crap out of it.
So in order to compete, Capcom had no choice but to update it again with Turbo, re-balancing the cast, adding a few new moves, and - as the name suggests - kicking up the speed.
