There has to be a disconnect in Louis blocking HLD and his team using them to gauge fandom reaction.

I think the reason that his team use them is because they have no clue where else to go to. They are the ones with the largest following and engagement with Louis as one of the people that the updates are about. If they were thinking strategy, they would be looking at picking a more favourable account for his music rather than an erstwhile ship and providing them with more exclusive access to Louis. They should be the ones driving and guiding instead of just showing up at the last moment to claim victory.

HLD is a farce because Larries aren’t the brightest set of people. I used to be in a different fandom, one of the very dedicated fans in that fandom invested a lot of her own money to maintain and archive all the content. She paid money to buy unseen from photoshoots/unedited pics/pics from events, pap pics not published etc. All of this stuff is available to buy, you don’t need some internal knowledge. That fan spent her own money to do all this because she was very very dedicated to archiving and cataloguing. HLD have created a business model around it, they act coy as if they know something others don’t. I feel that is quite dishonest, they should be more open about it that they have a subscription model which helps them make money to buy all of this content. Then people are making a conscious decision to give them money to buy this content for them.

They have basically become popular on false pretences. Now that they are popular the useless teams like Louis’ use them for their benchmark data. It’s a vicious circle. These people then try to hold hostage Louis career. Louis’ team has literally given them a power over his career by being lazy.

I know people in this fandom have been here for ages and now their minds have been programmed to think certain ways but the deceitfulness involved is just sad.
