Hi, i was wondering if you could explain/give a small description in terms of making an updates bar? Sorry /)-(\ it's just your's is fabulous
yeah totally anon! i love explaining how to do stuff (aggie thinks i'm speaking a different language when i talk coding xD)
okay! so first of all you have to have the css and html coding for your updates bar! there's loads of different types of bars you can have, i tend to use this here to decide since it's a masterlist :)
now, once you've picked an updates tab, you just click on the "tutorial here" thing in the actual post and it'll take you to an instructions page for that particular updates bar.
tbh if you're confused by anything, most theme makers tend to have open asks or posts explaining the problems and helping you fix them (bc theme developers are awesome)
my particular tab is actually this one here but i edited it to make it look different (i.e. i made the bars wider, changed the font etc) by editing the css coding
it can be a bit of a bugger to do, editing css, but in the end it's worth it bc you get something pretty damn hella that people (like you) will ask about :))
the best way i've found to learn about css is through trial-and-error (and believe me i've had some major errors!) bc that way you learn directly what does and doesn't work
