Hey Everyone!

I have an announcement…

I’M JOINING THE NAVY!

Now, I know what you’re thinking. “But Dray, what does that mean for your writing schedule?” Great question, I’m glad you asked!

First of all, I’m leaving next month for Boot Camp.

There will be a three or four month hiatus at minimum, as I am barely allowed any time to write while in there.

Even after I do get back, there probably will be no more weekly updates, and they might not be on Monday anymore. I hope so, but from what I’ve been informed about A School, it sounds like my weekdays will be too busy. I’ll adjust as needed.

For the specific job I’m going for, it’s about two years of school, and so between potentially eleven-hour school days and some homework, I might be too busy to write for a while, even after Boot Camp. And then after school when I’m placed on a sub or a carrier… I don’t even know.

There also will most likely be no more month-long challenges! I’m both looking forward to that and a little disappointed. Ah, well.

Anyway! That’s all I wanted to say. Thanks for sticking by me this last year. Even though I won’t be around nearly as much, I hope this year is another good one.

Not offline quite yet. Apparently my flight got delayed, and the subsequent one too.

So today will just be pure writing.

Have a snippet for a later fic while I’m waiting for three hours (I refuse to make it legible. Suffer.)

Alright, people. I'm posting four things tomorrow. Two of which, I am changing the publication date for in order to fall in line with my Twelve Days Of Christmas series.

I cannot overstate this enough, Day Eleven - "If There Was a Way" - is probably among my favourite things I have ever written. Even though its publication date is warped, please read it anyway. I'm absurdly proud of it.

Anyway, all four will be posted sometime in the next twelve to twenty-four hours.

Thank you so much for giving me so much of your support, I really appreciate it. After these updates, you won't see anything from me for a while. Full disclosure and all that.

But yeah. Once it's posted, read If There Was a Way. Please.

I’m back, babes!

1) Friend and I were discussing and I realized in the course of a week I made up three different fics where Bee breaks most of if not all of his digits. Great!

If you ever want to know how much everything he goes through is based off my life, the answer is Barely At All when it’s physical. I have never broken a finger in my life. Emotionally though it’s like 90% me and 10% vibes.

2) While writing the digits being broken I lost count halfway through and had to start leaving those little editor comments Google Docs lets you do in the margins “One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Oops— There goes the wrist.”

Ton of fun, I highly recommend! Count your broken “bones” like you count your steps! But yeah the fact I had to do that made me laugh.

3) One of those fics is for Febuwhump, so at least one is coming in a timely manner, yippee!
