This was the most unforgettable experience that I have ever had.
Every year, since I graduated highschool, it has been my tradition to attend the UP Fair. It is a fair, obviously, where there is a carnival, food trucks and stalls and a concert to watch all your favorite OPM bands.
The video attached here is the moment I first saw Parokya ni Edgar performed before my eyes. LIVE! It was the most magical moment for me. My childhood heroes stood in front of me singing all the beautiful and inspiring songs that I have and still listening to since I was a kid.
I grew up in a family that is very musically inclined and to meet one of the legendary bands here in the ph is so much for me.
The stage was perfect, not to glamorous with the lights and stuff. The moment was focused on the performance. A performance full of life and nostalgia. The audience cheer and sing along as PNE perform their hearts out out. A beautiful moment to remember.
After watching them live, I posted this video in my insta account and I tagged Chito (the vocalist) telling him how amazing they were. I thank them for being alive and inspiring a lot of aspiring musicians to strive hard and stay humble because one day, you will be there at the top.
