Toasted Siopao Eating Contest 1) One can join the competition by registering with an amount of P50. (Name, Year, Course, Contact Number) 2) Three pieces of toasted siopao shall be provided. 3) One must eat the toasted siopao as fast as one can without the aid of any drinks during the contest. 4) The fastest to eat the toasted siopao shall win an amount of P300.
Soda Drinking Contest 1) An individual or a group of up to three people can enter by registering with an amount of P50. Tous Tuus : The Life of a Saint

It is my first time to join a Prayer Meeting led by UP YFC. As a member of the YFC in Cagayan de Oro City (West Sector), it has been nostalgic to join a prayer meeting after quite some time. I admit I was quite hesitant to go for I haven't been active in YFC since I transferred to Diliman to pursue college but there it was, the Lord working in his own majestic ways, calling me back to Him. It has been fun and happy to meet new people in the University, people who continually respond to God's calling to serve and act as evangelists. Seeing my fellow youth who are active in this mission has inspired me to act as one in my own ways while staying in the University. Perhaps the message that God was telling at that time was that I am never alone, He Himself, will always be there for me, even I reach the farthest of places, for home will always be where God's heart is. Indeed I have seen Him through the people He tapped as instruments. I am always at awe with God's ways of making feel His love, and with this, I am more inspired to serve Him better in every day.

A Good Day to Design Hard
Pub Workshop

Last March 13, the UP YFC’s Pub Workshop was entitled A Good Day to Design Hard. The aim of the workshop is to introduce the basics of publicity and it was facilitated by no other than the publicity committee of the UPYFC. The two speakers were Ms. Nikki Malferari and Mr. Gibee Avila.
The first talk started with a little game. Basically, the game was a paint-me-a-picture of an ordinary day in UP with a twist. One of the group members had to take a picture of the group pose. The photos were used as a reference as the first speaker continued on with her talk. Nikki taught the basics of taking a good photograph using a DSLR camera and editing using simple tools.
The second talk was given by Gibee, who was also the PML and worship leader of the night. He explained the different publicity materials. He also explained the basics of making good publicity materials and a good video.
This era is the advent of technology and equipment are readily available for people who want to learn and practice the craft. Knowing the basics of photography, videography, and publicity is essential for students everywhere. For me, the talk has been very useful especially because two days after the talk, I was tasked to be one of the photographers for an event.

What I felt during the first YFC prayer meeting was amazing. Kahit bago pa ako, naramdaman ko that I belong. Namangha rin ako kasi napaintindi ako na money is not truly evil that money should be used to be able to bless others. During the worship, I felt relieved kasi ewan. Na feel ko lang talaga na ang saya ko to the point na napaiyak ako :)) It was an amazing feeling. Gusto kong ulit-ulitin.
