An alabaster relief of King Ur-Nanshe and the half-man, half-demon Anzu from Akkadian and Sumerian mythology.
Anzu was said to breath both fire and spew water. It could be a gigantic bird one moment, then a lion-headed eagle the next. Anzu was cursed to be half-demon when he stole “The Tablet of Destinies” and hid it atop a mountain.
