Yusuke, Kurama, Hiei and Kuwabara choose and comment on their Best 3 Matches (WSJ#3-4, 1994)
1. Yusuke
- 3rd place: Yusuke VS Hiei. "I had a hard time as a detective in my first fight with Hiei. I was lucky."
- 2nd place: Yusuke VS Jin and Chuu. "I had fun fighting with Jin and Chuu. I want to fight them again."
- 1st place: Yusuke VS Younger Toguro. "I’ve the impression the fight with Toguro was really painful."
↑ Toguro demonstrated full power. His form has turned him into a grotesque person!
2. Kurama
- 3rd place: Kurama VS Uraurashima. "It was impressive returning to the Youko form after such a long time."
- 2nd place: Kurama VS Kaitou. "It was an odd battle."
- 1st place: Kurama Vs Karasu. "Karasu was an unpleasant opponent, it was a mentally painful battle."
↑ A "quest class" youkai who controls bombs.
3. Hiei
- 3rd place: Hiei VS Bui
- 2nd place: Hiei VS Zeru
- 1st place: Hiei VS Yusuke. "I don't think I lost to Yusuke at the beginning of the fight. Suffering an embarrassing defeat is the only stain. He was just lucky."
↑ Yusuke's attack was overwhelming enough to make Hiei transform.
Note: Hiei only commented on the fight he lost. Apparently, Yusuke was lucky as both made that remark 😆. The Mirror of Darkness lying down there came in handy, reflecting Yusuke’s spirit gun in a stroke of luck. Nevertheless, we cannot forget Kurama's help when he took the blow in Yusuke’s place, in addition to blinding Hiei’s jagan with his blood.
4. Kuwabara
- 3rd place: Kuwabara VS Rinku. "The fight with Rinku was definitely my win."
- 2nd place: Kuwabara VS Ichigaki Team. "Against Ichigaki Team... I don't want to have that kind of battle twice."
- 1st place: Kuwabara Vs Elder Toguro. "Because that bastard Toguro was an irritating guy, I was able to reveal my latent energy...yeah!"
↑ Kuwabara's anger explodes at Elder Toguro who mocked Genkai!!
