You know, I prop UraTess up the most because it’s given very little attention by comparison to UraYoru, but UraYoruTess is actually the BEST best ship though because it’s all that stuff I mentioned x2. Huge big fantastic LGBT polyamory rights. Plus the idea that There Should Only Be One To Date Kisuke and the weird competitive romance shit that weirdo shippers push is so fucking stupid and makes my brain hurt. There’s so much potential for all three of them that it’s like, why not both? They can all be bisexual, together, forever. And the idea of Yoruichi and Tessai also loving each other romantically and being sweet and sexual, with or without Kisuke in the picture, is just the ultimate fuck you to the weirdos. So I do ship UraTess, but if you asked me what I really ship deep down, it’s all three of them together, and they all have equal and mutual romantic and sexual feelings. There is no hierarchy, no competition, just love.

kisuke’s, tessai’s, and yoruichi’s skills work so well together and it makes me so happy? they’re powerful and if they all teamed up they could kick pretty much anyone’s ass.

kisuke would be described as a magic knight, good at swordsmanship foremost, magic second, and martial arts third. tessai is a combat wizard, good at magic foremost, martial arts second, and swordsmanship third (we can assume he has some skill but for certain reasons doesn’t often utilize it.) then we have yoruichi, who is a combat wizard of a different variety, good at martial arts foremost, magic second, and swordsmanship third (again we can assume she has some skill but for certain reasons doesn’t often utilize it.)

all three of them have a different specialty, but are skilled at the basics of each discipline. as a team, each one of them would have a role they specialize, in but if they were in a pinch they could support each other with their non-specialty skills.

the urayorutess team dynamic is so strong, i love it a lot. it’s like the battle couple trope but instead it’s a battle trio.
