i like this idea in theory but wouldn’t it run the risk of reinforcing the idea that women are meant to stay at home + do all the domestic labour? jc of your thoughts :)

Yeah that concern did come to mind but I just think in general the role of raising children and running a household is one of society’s most important jobs and to do all that work without getting paid is really unjust. ofc if such a wage were to exist I don’t think it should discriminate between the sexes and stay at home dads (like my dad has been at times when he doesn’t have work) and other carers should be entitled too.

what did you do this weekend?

on friday i spend the night with my sister and a friend and we had such a good time! i hate lots of fries and got really drunk and talked about my feelings and laughed a lot! and today i mostly spend the day in bed which is what i’ll probably do on sunday too lmao
