The Trek Cyclocross Collective have pretty much had USA cross in the bag for the last couple of years, but last season saw Trek CXC take things up a notch when Katie Compton (AKA Katie F’n Compton) secured the 12/13 CX World Championships.

Plenty of bikes out there carry the strapline “Race Proven” yet so often bear only a passing resemblance to the bikes being ridden at Pro Level. In the Case of the Trek Crockett 2014, this is no empty claim:
