Growing up in urban neighborhoods & being raised in low income apartments creates a mind set. Typical death at an old or young age would shock white or blue collar middle/upper class people but it’s a mind set that is lower class/minority’s have grown a custom to being that it happens so often. Gun shots drugs police at every corner is another custom we just see as normal, it’s really not though. It’s sad & unfortunate that people including myself get use too. There all every day motions that just become habits that become cycles. For people of more wealth you may look at things like that like it’s a motion picture or something out of a book but for us at the bottom it’s life an everyday struggle of survival
