Growing up in urban neighborhoods & being raised in low income apartments creates a mind set. Typical death at an old or young age would shock white or blue collar middle/upper class people but it’s a mind set that is lower class/minority’s have grown a custom to being that it happens so often. Gun shots drugs police at every corner is another custom we just see as normal, it’s really not though. It’s sad & unfortunate that people including myself get use too. There all every day motions that just become habits that become cycles. For people of more wealth you may look at things like that like it’s a motion picture or something out of a book but for us at the bottom it’s life an everyday struggle of survival

once in a while there are some posts here on tumblr that go like “be creative!! describe blue eyes as other than oceans or skies!” and like, what else exactly do you want us to say?? eyes like a stormy ocean or as blue as a clear sky are things that you can easily picture easily while also making them sound deep or romantic

but you’re right, let’s go for “blue as the label of a water bottle”, “suddenly she saw eyes as blue as that one bubblegum ice cream, “she turned to me with twitter background colored eyes”, “he looked deeply at me with those #386987 shaded eyes”

you know how everyone who holds the One Ring calls it ‘my precious’? It’s obviously not a coincidence, so does that mean that the One Ring to rule them all likes to be called my precious? Does that mean that Sauron used to call it that as well??

More importantly, Gandalf says that Sauron and the One Ring are one and the same, does that mean that Sauron liked to be called my precious?

Professor Quirrell was a Muggle Studies teacher until he got Voldemort on the back of his head, I wonder how much of Tom Riddle’s desire to teach DADA at Hogwarts made Quirrell apply for that position? As a muggle studies professor he had less classes/students and way more time to find out where the philosopher's stone and how to get to it, and yet Voldemort made sure that the first time he returned to Hogwarts ever since Dumbledore turned him down for the job it was in that exact position.
