It Started From the Grades
She gets a F in school,
Where her teachers try to help.
She gets a C in honesty,
when she lies she’s just “okay”.
She gets a B+ in her social life,
Where her friends have been thinking a lot about her.
She gets an a+ in depression,
Where all she thinks about is
The world she will be going into next,
While a pool of blood completely drenches her clothes.
The blood which once held a source of hope, life.
The blood where her words and thoughts were hidden away like a safe
The blood which she let escape at times of sadness.
That same blood was letting all those secrets out now.
She gets a huge scholarship in depression,
When she did the thing she had been waiting for,
When she finally decided to end her life,
And escape the grades that were given to her.
